Traditional Orthodox Prayers / An Act of Spiritual Communion
« on: November 17, 2013, 07:46:32 AM »
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

If you miss The Divine Liturgy due to a very serious reason, or simply just wish to be with Our  Blessed Lord, and you cannot receive Him Sacramentally, the Church offers us a prayer that will unite us to Jesus, present in the Most Blessed Sacrament, in a spiritual way.

Lord Jesus I acknowledge you as my Lord and God.

I believe you have the power to save me from a life of sin.

I repent from living a wicked and evil life.

Help me to live a life that glorifies you.

Fill me with love for all the people in my life, and help me to serve others, in grace, generosity, and humility.

Please cover me with your precious blood, and fill me with Your Spirit.

I thank you for your Holy Spirit now dwelling within me.

Help me to read your Word every day in order to learn how to live a life that pleases you.

Thank you Lord.

A message using Bible text to give evidence for a pre-tribulation rapture of the church. This is the first in a series of short messages that will help explain what the rapture is, why and how we can become part of it. Also, what are some of the signs that point to Jesus return for His church.

In this video, I bring forward the scriptures that I believe express the truth of a rapture that preceeds the 7 year tribulation period. I hope this blesses you and gives you hope. Jesus is coming soon!

Calvinism (Also know by Doctrines of Grace or Reformed theology)
John MacArthur use Romans 8:28-30 as main text.

The five points of calvinism are Total depravity (total inability), Unconditional election, Limited atonement (Also called particular redemption or definite atonement), Irresistible grace (also called efficacious grace), and Perseverance of the saints.

Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren. And these whom He predestined, He also called. And these whom He called, He also justified. And these whom He justified, He also glorified."

Did biblical prophets have special abilities that allowed them to foretell the future? For thousands of years, history has recorded the words of prophets—men and women who seem to have uncanny insight into events of the future. For most of us, the notion of predicting the future seems inconceivable. Yet according to the ancient prophets, there are portents of doom facing the nations of the earth. . . times of famine, war, misery and cataclysmic natural disasters. Could it be these prophets were witnesses to our generation?

Approximately 2,500 prophecies appear in the Bible . . . some 2,000 of which have already been fulfilled to the letter. Is it possible, as some scholars suggest that the remaining 500 may be unfolding before our very eyes? The ancient prophets wrote of impending disasters, war, earthquakes, and famine—events that seem to be happening with increasing regularity. But haven't we implemented the mechanisms to lessen their impact on society? Or has our technology actually created the devices for these ancient predictions to come true . . . with all of their dire implications? Are some warnings more important than others? And if they are, what gives them more urgency? Explore the predictions of the prophets, then decide for yourself: Are ancient prophecies today's reality?

Proves that Joseph Smith was a false prophet and therefore disproves Mormonism. The video demonstrates that Facsimile 1 from Joseph Smith's Book of Abraham comes from pagan Egyptian funerary texts. This "scripture" is part of the Mormon church's Pearl of Great Price and is the source of many of the Mormon religion's unconventional beliefs.
